School Friends...

Danika and Jason have some friends at school named Federica and Antonio.  They have been over to Federica and Antonio’s house for an afternoon.  They also have a little dog named Olle.  Of course Danika loves the dog J  This is a picture of the kids on their way to school in the morning…

Their mother’s name is Valeria, and we speak with her often because she speaks great English, and has helped us out quite often.   Her husband is Pepe, but he works quite hard as an attorney, so we don’t see much of him.  We have been to a caffe a few times with Valeria. This morning we also went with a friend of hers, Fabio who also has a son going to Fabretti Scuola.  We were only formally introduced this morning, which is sad.  He is very interesting and we truly enjoyed his company.  They took us to a caffe we had never been to and we had a lovely morning just sitting and chatting.  Valeria always speaks English with us, so it was very nice to have Fabio along.  His English is very good, but he was willing to be patient with us as we tried our Italian.  

It has been so nice to spend some time with the locals.  I am so thankful that the kids are in school because that is how we have met most of our friends here.  Luckily the kids have great taste in friends...
