Today was another relaxing day. This time we went to Assisi. It was so easy this time as we know exactly where to park, which streets are the nicest to walk down, and basically how to get to everything without getting lost. So, it was really easy to give the tour…
The drive in offers a great view before we get there…
David has his Rick Steve’s Italy on his Kindle, so he is our resident tour guide with all of the pertinent facts at his fingertips…
We went to the church of St. Clare…
Which also has some beautiful overlooks just outside…
We stopped at the fountain on the way to St. Francis’ Basilica…
Stopped at St. Francis’ Basilica where a mass was in progress in the lower portion, so we only had a short tour inside the upper section.
Then of course, the view over the valley from St. Francis’ Basilica…
Another lovely relaxing day J
