Are we living on a movie set?

Sometimes it’s hard to believe we’re not living on a movie set.  

As we were preparing dinner the other night, “opera lady” as she is now known started practicing her latest aria.  We threw open our windows to the sound of live opera, and to the vistas of the rolling hills of Umbria…just like in A Room With A View.

And then, as we were preparing breakfast yesterday morning, the guy below us starts singing what sounded like “Always look on the bright side of life” from Monty Python’s Life of Brian.  I wasn’t sure I’d heard it correctly, until I’m singing along in the kitchen “always look on the bright side of life, dee doo, dee doo ba doo be…” and Danika comes in and says “you sound just like the guy singing downstairs”.
